Converging behavioral finance with technology

Through our own experiences as investors and in the financial services industry, we were frustrated by the often impersonal relationship between financial advisors and their clients.

We craved a more personal experience where advisors could have information at their fingertips to truly ‘know’ their clients and guide them to make better investing decisions.

When we couldn’t find anything out there that fit the bill, so we decided to build it ourselves.

David Hosey


David Hosey has over 15+ years of technology and financial services experience (banking, insurance, pension and investments) in a variety of roles, most recently as head of IT at a major pension plan. David has experience implementing large scale technology initiatives and leading complex projects. 


Kate Kim

Chief Data Scientist

Kate Kim most recently worked as a data scientist and has the technical skills to ensure a strong foundation at Betterworth. Her psychology, mathematics, statistics and programming background will help the team better understand the cognitive mechanisms and machine learning algorithms to solve a class of business problems.
